How does a female sex change work?
My sister feels like a man stuck in a girls body what am I supposed to expect during the operation and what is going to happen to my sister when she gets the sex change?

Your trans gender sister would still retain certain identifying characteristics - she wouldn't suddenly look like a completely different person.
Typically, sex change surgery from woman to man involves plastic surgery to reduce breast size and to overall shape the body into a more masculine one, as well as hormone replacement therapy - in this case it would replace the estrogen in your sisters body with testosterone, which could stimulate the growth of facial hair and stop menstruation, as well as deepen the voice. Your sister will not become a completely switched, fully fertile male, but at least her appearance will more closely match what she feels (or "he"?) on the inside. To make the change more complete, she'll probably want to start acting like a man by cutting her hair short and wearing mens' clothing. She'll still like the same things (movies, books, etc.) and will have the same brain.
